Sauvik Banerjee

One of the top 6 technologists globally with over 150 implementations running across the globe, Sauvik Banerjjee is a technologist and Vice President of Tata Industries – Digital Initiatives, Advisory to Group Co’s and CTO of TataCLiQ by profession. He is a tech evangelist and entrepreneur by heart and has built two successful start-ups and sold them in the UK. Having mentored over 600 senior management over the years, Sauvik in India is also mentoring select start-ups in building successful business models. He is on the board of advisors for several companies and start-ups alike. He has been responsible for disruptive innovation ideas in technology and omnichannel commerce that have earned him the distinction and title of being one of the only 6 people (the only person of Indian origin) in the world to have worked on all global Omni channel platforms. Sauvik also holds a robust track record in P&L roles where he has delivered over 143% growth, and 122% growth across India and Europe for organisations like Infosys, Accenture and SAP.

Sauvik Banerjjee has been a recipient of multiple awards, including some recent ones like the Infosys Global Star Award for the best disruption in Omni Channel Commerce 2012, Accenture European Award for innovation on disruption in Omni Channel Commerce 2013 and 2014, SAP Extra Mile Most Valued Player Award 2016, SAP Leadership Award for creating and delivering the world’s first digital omnichannel market place for the Tatas.

He continues to be focused on innovation in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, IoT and applications across industries, Hoverboard, Lunar missions, Smart Cities and much more.

His enthusiasm for entrepreneurial spirit sees him dedicated to the cause of innovation through his work with Govt of WB at the CII Innovation club as also his work on the advisory board of organisations like NODD, ThinQbate, FoodAbhi, Xelpmoc, InQube, Roambee, Traveltrex, BumkyTrumps, Neoniche, Website.co.in and as an honorary advisor to Rasilant, SaberPoint, Phi-Robotics.
